The Aspiring Educators of Michigan State (AEMS) is a pre-professional organization for students studying to become educators, school psychologists and counselors, social workers, speech pathologists, nurses, etc. Our goal is to help provide members with the resources and supports needed to help navigate the educational world and ensure a smooth transition from collegiate life to working in education.

In AEMS, we focus on five main areas:

-
Professional Development
-
Community Service
-
Fundraising
-
Social Events
-
General Meetings

AEMS is a proud affiliate of the Aspiring Educators of Michigan through the Michigan Education Association (MEA) and the National Education Association Aspiring Educators Program (NEA). As a member of the MEA and NEA, it will provide you with the necessary resources and supports needed to not only succeed in your time here in undergrad but also in your professional career. Some of these resources include discounts on everyday purchases, networking opportunities with state and national leaders, free CPR training, professional development opportunities to expand knowledge on various educational topics, and more!
